There's lots of users reporting the same exact situation; I'd give it some time and see what happens. In the meantime, you can try to get scouted by being more active in the Audio Forum or having a friend vouch for you :)

Some people see "asking someone to scout or help you to get whitelist" as a bad thing, for being kinda unfair, so I never tried doing this.
I have a friend that tought of creating an account on this site, but who am I to force him.
